Biography


Dr. Singh is an Epidemiologist by training and Senior Research Scientist at the Public Health Foundation of India, and Adjunct Faculty at the Hubert Department of Global Health at Emory University, USA. She has over 10 years of research experience in clinical trials, implementation science and economic evaluations. Her research work primarily focuses on evaluating the long-term effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and process evaluation of a multifaceted quality improvement intervention among poorly controlled type 2 diabetes patients in South Asia. In 2019, Dr. Singh was the first Indian to receive the NIH Emerging Global Leader Award (K43 grant, 2019-2024), to conduct a project that aims to develop and test the feasibility/effectiveness of a collaborative quality improvement strategy for the secondary prevention cardiovascular diseases in India.
