Biography


Dr. Jones is a postdoctoral fellow with Emory Global Diabetes Research Center. Dr. Jones received her Master of Public Health from Emory University and PhD in Nutrition and Health Sciences from Emory University. Her research interests include migration, obesity, diabetes, and nutrition. She also has specific expertise in structural equation modeling. She collaborates with Solveig Cunningham on obesity dynamics across the lifecourse and food choices within rural India. Her long-term research goal is to incorporate psychometric method and measurement at the intersection of diabetes, obesity and migration. Using such methods to characterize obesogenic environments globally and the management of diabetes and a healthy lifestyle within and across national borders.
