Biography
Francisco J. Pasquel, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Global Health at Emory University. He completed his training in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, and Epidemiology at Emory University. Dr. Pasquel serves as Co-Director of the Regional Technology Core at the Georgia Center for Diabetes Translation Research and Co-Director of the Diabetes Translational Accelerator (DTA) at the Emory Global Diabetes Research Center (EGDRC).
Dr. Pasquel cares for patients with diabetes at Grady Health System and collaborates with other researchers on projects focused on diabetes technologies and cardiometabolic disease. His research is supported by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).
