Biography

Dr. Jithin Varghese's research is focused on three areas of cardiometabolic health: small-area surveillance, concordance of health among family members, and feedback loops (“vicious cycles”) among high risk populations (such as people living with HIV, serious mental illness and cognitive impairment). He also leads the Diabetes Translational Accelerator to empower doctoral students for translating their dissertation into a commercially viable startup with the goal of improving cardiometabolic health.
