Aniqa Alam
Biography
Aniqa Alam is a Public Health Program Associate in the Hubert Department of Global Health. Her research focuses are in cardiovascular disease, cognitive decline and dementia, and the interplay between the morbidities, particularly within the context of health disparities. Her previous work has focused on biomarker identification and influence of micronutrients on cognitive decline, the impact of atrial fibrillation and its ascertainment methods on cognition in hypertensive patients, and the impact of alcohol consumption on atrial morphology.
