Gulshan Harjee
Biography
Dr. Gulshan Harjee is the Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the Clarkston Community Health Center and a highly respected board-certified internist and certified civil surgeon. She graduated from Emory University School of Medicine and is the founder of First Medical Care, Inc. Dr. Harjee's leadership extends to her role as a past president of the DeKalb Medical Society. She has served on the boards of UNICEF and DeKalb Medical Center, now Emory Decatur, where her contributions have significantly impacted both organizations. Additionally, Dr. Harjee serves on the advisory board of UNICEF’s Campaign USA and as an adjunct professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Harjee co-founded the Clarkston Community Health Center, a multi-award-winning humanitarian initiative that provides essential healthcare services to underserved populations. Her exceptional contributions to medicine and community service have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Morehouse School of Medicine and the Distinguished Alumni and Impact Awards from Emory University. Dr. Harjee's dedication to improving healthcare and the well-being of her community continues to inspire and create meaningful change.
