Sima Rama


Biography


Sima Rama received her Master’s in Public Health from Emory University then went on to work with several government and corporate agencies including The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Northrop Grumman, a defense, space, aeronautics, and cyber company.

With over 20 years of public health and corporate experience as a Health Analyst, Business Analyst, Behavioral Scientist and congressional consultant, she has won numerous prestigious awards. Some of which include Director’s award for her pioneering work, Health Equity Award for Contributions to Minority Health and Research and Surveillance, and CDC/ATSDR Honor Award for Excellence. Sima has co-authored over 20 articles published in national and international journals and is a member of numerous prominent organizations. She also continues to help scientists, physicians, and various research and empowerment programs.

Sima is now helping to manage and grow the family businesses including hotels, real estate and non-profit organizations, and is writing a book and starting a podcast to create a platform to continue to empower people of all backgrounds.
