Nalini Saligram

Biography

Dr. Nalini Saligram, is the Founder & CEO of Arogya World, a nonprofit organization tackling the massive diabetes crisis in India through prevention. They design and implement scalable, science-based behavior change programs in Indian schools, workplaces, and the community and have reached 12.5 million people in the last decade. Nalini and her team have partnered with Emory's Rollins School of Public Health on content design for mDiabetes, their flagship mHealth program. Arogya World's work is award winning and they received the 2022 United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on NCDs and WHO Special Programme on Primary Health Care Award.
