Jonathan Yaeger

Biography

"Jon Yaeger, former Board Member of the American Diabetes Association and President of the North DeKalb Lions Club, received a B.A. from Emory University and attended the MPH program at Georgia State. He is a retired entrepreneur who currently works with volunteer organizations, having been a long-term member of Rotary and serving as the current president of the North DeKalb Lions Club. Yaeger assisted the Task Force for Global Health with their cholera prevention program and worked as an administrative assistant for RFHA (Rotary Family Health & AIDS Prevention).

He has also served on the board of the Atlanta chapter of the American Diabetes Association and has been involved with diabetes information and screening initiatives in the USA and the Caribbean. Currently, he is working with Rotary and other organizations to prevent spina bifida and other neural tube defects, as well as to promote diabetes prevention and screening."
