Biography

Dr. Varghese's research is focused on continuous glucose monitoring, etiology of Type 2 Diabetes from Electronic Health Records, and social determinants of chronic disease among South Asians. He has also studied how wealth over the life course was related to health, cognition and well-being in birth cohorts in low- and middle-income countries and used large survey dataset to explore the epidemiology of malnutrition in India.
