Jiali Guo

Biography
Jiali Guo completed her MPH in Biostatistics at Emory University in 2024 and is now a Biostatistician at the EGDRC. She gained expertise in health cost estimation while working as a research assistant at the CDC during her time at Emory. With a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from China, she has conducted significant research in drug development, cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease. Jiali's current research focuses on improving diabetes and hypertension care for individuals with HIV and identifying new subphenotypes of Type II diabetes in teenagers. She also uses Bayesian regression trees to study the effects of combination medication on temperature-related volume depletion (VD) and acute kidney injury (AKI).
